ICC warns SriLanka Cricket over poor pitch in Galle

Change's to playing conditions from Today

As has always been the practice, changes to the playing conditions for Tests, One-Day Internationals (ODIs) and Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is) take effect from Saturday 1 October, the ICC has confirmed.

Two new balls per innings (ODIs only)
20 overs Powerplays (ODIs only)
No Runners (Tests, ODIs and T20Is
Extra time to complete a match (Tests only)
Bowler attempting to run-out non-striker before delivery (Tests, ODIs and T20Is)



Marsh keen to extend Sri Lanka stay

Australian Geoff Marsh said he was keen to extend his two-year contract as Sri Lanka coach after taking over the job on Thursday.

"If Sri Lanka Cricket wants me to extend my contract till the 2015 World Cup its open from my end for discussions," Marsh told reporters.

Marsh succeeded another Australian, Trevor Bayliss, who retired after this year's World Cup in April after coaching the Sri Lanka team for four years.
